TODAY AFTER MASS: Please join us a short time in Sala 1050. Steffie Robert has just graduated from CBU and she would like to thank our parish by sharing some cake. There will also be refreshments and fellowship. Steffie, who is an international student, has been with us faithfully and weekly for the past couple of years and has also participated in many parish meals and events. We are blessed to have her in our midst. Congratulations, Steffie. May God bless you!

DWOJAKI: The free draw that took place after Mass was won by Evelyn Wojcik, Robert Schella, and Frank Starzomski. Father Rich drew the names. Congratulations.

POLISH HERITAGE MONTH: Please see the more detailed notes in last week’s bulletin about the “Special Walks” theme for upcoming Nova Scotia Polish Heritage Month in September.

CANADIAN POLISH MILLENNIUM FUND: There are some good bursary opportunities for students and new funding opportunities for organizations. The Atlantic Canada District of the Canadian Polish Congress is going to have a workshop on funding opportunities during NS Polish Heritage Month in September.

UKRAINIAN HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE: Thank you for continued support. We have been supporting the efforts of our sister city, Wałbrzych, Poland, which has been caring for
thousands of refugees plus the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace and the Catholic Near East Welfare Association

OUR POLISH-THEMED RADIO SEGMENTS: Marking four years already! The Coast Radio FM 89.7 (weekdays at 3:50pm and 7:50pm or any time at coastalradio.ca). This coming week will be about Ptasie Mleczko/E. Wedel Chocolates with guest Nicole MacCormack and dedicated to Joe Gillis on the occasion of his recent birthday.
We’re looking for sponsors and volunteers for the radio segments. It’s $100 for a whole week to sponsor. Sponsors are recognized on air – and any dedications, too (eg. if you’re sponsoring as a memorial or as a birthday or anniversary gift). The Coast is generously redirecting the sponsorships back to the St. Michael’s Polish Benefit Society (which produces the segments).
