OGŁOSZENIA / ANNOUNCEMENTS
SERDECZNY BÓG ZAPŁAĆ! Heartfelt thanks for all the help and goodwill last weekend as we marked our 110th anniversary and also had the Pogoria events and unveiled the pocket park with guests. It was a very special weekend. Check out the parish Facebook page (a public page, accessible to anyone with internet) for pictures from these and other recent events: facebook.com/stmaryspolishchurch/
STO LAT! Blessings, best wishes, and much appreciation to Wayne Joseph on the occasion of his birthday!
TICKETS FOR THE POLISH TAKE-OUT DINNERS: Friday, Sept. 29. Take-out at the church. $15. Only advance tickets (no sales at door). Tom Urbaniak has tickets. They will likely sell out over the course of the next week. A big thank you to the volunteers who worked so hard this week on pierogi.
OUR PARISH MINI-RETREAT IN GABARUS: This coming Saturday: prayer gathering on beach at 11:15am, then lunch in fire hall, short reflective walk to lighthouse (with driving option), unveiling of Copernicus sundial at about 2:00pm. Fr. Rich and Tom Urbaniak recently went to Gabarus to work on the arrangements. The walking part is light. The views from the sundial (which is complete and being installed this week) are spectacular. It’s going to be special. To access Gabarus beach, please take the Gabarus Highway right into the Village of Gabarus – go right to the end of the road, then turn left into the fishing dock area and drive a few metres until you see the wooden steps to the beach (you’ll see other cars). If you need a ride, please let Tom Urbaniak know. We won’t leave anyone behind! Also, if you could confirm your attendance (902-563-1226; tom_urbaniak@cbu.ca) so we can give the community numbers for lunch that would be great!
GOŁĄBKI: We’ll need lots of volunteers again for cabbage rolls, 9:00am Thurs., Sept. 28. Thanks to anyone who can spare some time.

BOTTLES AND CANS COLLECTION FOR UKRAINIAN HUMANITARIAN RELIEF EFFORTS: In support of our Ukrainian humanitarian relief efforts, Marjorie Ardelli and Paul MacKinnon are very kindly continuing to collect recyclable bottles. They would welcome any redeemable bottles. Thanks to fellow parishioners for recent contributions of bottles and cans. Our parish has been supporting sister city Walbrzych’s Ukrainian relief efforts, plus the Catholic Near East Welfare Association and the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace. Our contributions now total more than $35,000. God bless you!
FOOD CUPBOARD: Many thanks for bringing any non-perishable contributions to Mass. The St. Michael’s Polish Benefit Society has recently done repairs to the Food Cupboard.
OUR POLISH-THEMED RADIO SEGMENTS: The Coast Radio 89.7 (weekdays at 3:50pm and 7:50pm or any time at coastalradio.ca). This coming week's segment will be about our Copernicus sundial being unveiled this coming Saturday! Many thanks to Janet McGillen, President of the Gabarus Lightkeepers Society, for lending her voice. This segment is dedicated to Robert Melski Sr. on the occasion of his recent birthday.
We’re always looking for sponsors and volunteers. It’s $100 for a whole week. Sponsors are recognized on air – and any dedications, too (eg. if you’re sponsoring as a memorial or as a birthday or anniversary gift). The Coast is generously redirecting the sponsorships back to the St. Michael’s Polish Benefit Society (which produces the segments), which has been a big help to the Society. If you think you might like to sponsor a week, please e-mail tom_urbaniak@cbu.ca or call 563-1226. Many thanks!
COLLECTION FOR SEPTEMBER 10: $984.00. Sincere thanks! Bόg zapłać!

PIEŚNI / HYMNS:
Entrance: Kiedy Ranne Wstają Zorze (The Morning Hymn)
1.Kiedy ranne wstają zorze,/ Tobie ziemia, Tobie morze./ Tobie śpiewa żywioł wszelki, Bądź pochwalon, Boże wielki!
2.A człowiek, który bez miary,/Obsypany Twymi dary,/Coś go stworzył i ocalił, A czemuż by Cię nie chwalił
Offertory: Serce Twe Jezu miłością goreje (Your Heart, Jesus, Exudes Love)
1.Serce Twe, Jezu, miłością goreje,/ Serce Twe w ogniu miłości topnieje, / A nasze serca zimne jak lód,/ I próżny dla nich Twej męki trud.
2.Kiedyż, o kiedyż słodki mój Panie,/ Poznamy Twego Serca kochanie,/ Kiedyż Twa miłość rozpali nas?/ O dobry Jezu, czas to już czas.
Communion: O Mój Jezu w Hostii Skryty (My Jesus, Contained in the Host)– choir
Post-Communion: Na Wszystkich Drogach Życia (On All the Roads of Life)
Na wszystkich drogach życia,/ Gdzie posłałeś mnie,/ O Tobie, Boże, myślę, Wszędzie szukam Cię.
O Boże mój, dziękuję Ci/ Za bezmiar Twoich łask,/ Za radość Twą, za miłość Twą, Za każdą chwilę dnia.
Zapalasz światło wiary/ W zwykły, szary czas,/ By każda chwila życia/ Jednoczyła nas.
Recessional: Po Górach Dolinach (Immaculate Mary)
1. Po górach, dolinach rozlega się dzwon, Anielskie witanie ludziom głosi on:
Ref.: Zdrowaś, zdrowaś, zdrowaś Maryja. Częstochowska, Panno Maryja.
