OGŁOSZENIA / ANNOUNCEMENTS

FATHER RICH REPORTS:
Niech Bedzie Pochwalony Jezus Chrystus!  Na wieki wiekow!

In today’s Gospel, we read about the moving encounter between Jesus and the adulteress Samaritan woman at the well. During it, Jesus told her about the gift God wanted to give her- the gift He called “living water”. Here at Mass, we have encounter with the “Living Bread” (Eucharist) and also the “Living Word” (the Gospel). The encounter with the sinful woman is another great illustration of Jesus' love and desire to change and transform the sinner.

Deanery Meeting at St. Mary’s: This past Friday we hosted the monthly meeting of priests of the Sydney Deanery. Nine priests were in attendance and they enjoyed a Polish lunch that  consisted of “Golabki”, Pierogi, salad, beets, pickles, bread and dessert. Special thanks to those who set up the hall, cooked and served the meal and cleaned up as well: Wayne Joseph, Frania& Shauna McKay, Ann Marie Campbell, Peggy Ryba and Sophie O’Toole. Our guests were impressed with the new church, hall and our hospitality.

I also want to thank John Morykot and Anne Marie Campbell for all their work this past week in cleaning and  re-positioning things in the hall and also setting up our mini-classrooms.

PREP Cathechism classes today after Mass.

POLISH FOLKLORE WORKSHOP: will be held today in Sala 1050. All are welcome.

DURING LENT: On Wednesdays, Lenten Lamentations (Gorzkie Zale) will be sung in English after Mass. Every Friday at 6:00 pm before Mass, there will be Way of the Cross devotions. NOTE: This week after the Wednesday Mass, we will have novena prayers to Our Lady in place of Lamentations.

VIDEO SERIES: This Thursday, our video series will continue on CATHOLICISM narrated by Bishop Robert Barrom at 7 pm in Sala 1050. All are welcome to come and deepen our understanding of the faith. (Episode 3)
