OGŁOSZENIA / ANNOUNCEMENTS

FATHER RICH REPORTS:
Niech Bedzie Pochwalony Jezus Chrystus!  Na wieki wiekow!

We began this past Wednesday, the holy season of Lent with Ash Wednesday. I am most grateful to Father Roman who filled in for me as I experienced a delay that caused my returning from home from a quick two day visit to my sister and family in the states to four days! We hopefully have made one or more Lenten resolutions to keep. Yet we know that we will be tempted just as Jesus was as He went into the desert to fast and pray in preparation for beginning His public ministry. Whatever it is we intend to do or not to do, let us not get over discouraged if we have already fallen once or twice. Let us return and begin anew.

I want to thank all who made our Pre-Lenten Polka Party “Zabawa” a big success last Saturday. Special thanks go to those who prepared food, decorated and assisted in anyway. We hope to have another similar “Zabawa” on Easter Monday that is “Smigus Dyngus” day with music, food and water fun for all ages. More information to come. All these social, cultural and recreational events are fund raisers for our Rebuilding Fund.

PREP Cathechism classes are cancelled for today. Next Sunday, there will be Way (Stations) of the Cross for PREP students after Mass and then a shortened class session.

POLISH FOLKLORE WORKSHOP: cancelled for today.

TODAY: The monthly potluck lunch will be held immediately following Mass today in Sala 1050. All are welcome.

RADA MEETING: The Parish Rada will meet this Wednesday after Mass & devotions at 7 pm in Sala 1050.

DURING LENT: On Wednesdays, Lenten Lamentations (Gorzkie Zale) will be sung in English after Mass. Every Friday at 6:00 pm before Mass, there will be Way of the Cross devotions.

VIDEO SERIES: This Thursday, our video series will begin on CATHOLICISM narrated by Bishop Robert Barrom at 7 pm in Sala 1050. All are welcome to come and deepen our understanding of the faith.
