OGŁOSZENIA / ANNOUNCEMENTS

FATHER RICH REPORTS:
Niech Bedzie Pochwalony Jezus Chrystus!  Na wieki wiekow!
This Sunday, our Gospel from St. Matthew relates the famed talk that Jesus had on the mount as He introduced the beatitude. In the beatitudes, we see the values that Christians should live by. While they present a great challenge, they also offer great rewards here and in the hereafter. Sadly, often the values we live by often have little to do with the values of the gospel. May we ask the Lord for the strength and grace we need to live out the beatitudes in our lives.

This Thursday, Holy Mass will be in the evening as we observe the feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the temple, also known as Candlemas Day (Matki Boskiej Gromicznej in Polish). We will have devotional candles available for purchase or offering that will be blessed and we will have a procession around the church and sing Kolędy for the last time.

Friday, February 3rd we commemorate the martyr Saint Blaise with a traditional blessing of throats at the end of Mass.
Saturday, February 4th We will have our monthly First Saturday Mass in honour of Our Lady at 8:30 a.m. .
Next Sunday (First Sunday of the month) the 10 a.m. Mass will be mostly in Polish. Following Mass we will have our potluck luncheon in Sala 1050. (Cold items only). The following parishioners are next on the list to please bring a dish: Frania Ardelli, Marjorie &Shirley Ardelli, Vicky Aucoin, Edyta Bączyk, Stefie Black, Evelyn Wojcik, Micka DiPenta, Joe & Marilyn Gillis, Maryanne Gillis, Larry Gniewek, Tony Gniewek, Janet Hawthorne. Please remember a donation for Loaves and Fishes!
