“IMIENINY” (NAME DAYS) FOR THE COMING WEEK. Help to maintain a longstanding Polish Catholic tradition by acknowledging relatives, friends, and colleagues who are celebrating their “name day,” corresponding with the feast day of a saint of the same name. Where there is more than one saint of the same name who has been assigned a day, your “name day” is the one closest to your birthday. It is customary in the Polish tradition to acknowledge the name day of a relative or friend:
April 6: Ada, Adam, Ireneusz, Katarzyna, Świętobor
April 7: Donata, Przecław
April 8: Cezary, Radosław, Sieciesława
April 9: Dobrosława, Dymitr, Maja
April 10: Antoni, Daniel, Henryk, Małgorzata, Michał
April 11: Filip, Jaromir, Leon, Marek
April 12: Andrzej, Iwan, Juliusz, Siemiodrog, Wiktor, Zenon

Wskrzeszenie Łazarza/The Rising of Lazarus: Jezus im odpowiedział: “Czyż dzień nie liczy dwunastu godzin? Jeżeli ktoś chodzi za dnia, nie potknie się, ponieważ widzi światło tego świata. Jeżeli jednak ktoś chodzi w nocy, potknie się, ponieważ brak mu światła”. To powiedział, a następnie rzekł do nich: “Łazarz, przyjaciel nasz, zasnął, lecz idę, aby go obudzić”. Jesus replied, “There are twelve hours of daylight every day. During the day people can walk safely. They can see because they have the light of this world. But at night there is danger of stumbling because they have no light.” Then he said, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but now I will go and wake him up.”

The east side, which was quite affected by recent storms, was done a few weeks ago is working. This should keep water damage away for the time being. Also, we hope to patch up the ceiling in the worst areas in time for Easter and the canonization celebration. We are still collecting roof estimates and comparing methods and materials. We should have a final fund-raising goal (dollar amount) within two weeks. Thank you kindly!
